The former is excusable (we do all keep Shabbos, you know), and as you said, the content is usually so different, while the latter is not.

and the articles in the Mishpacha about the rare animals was only because there was such a demand for it! It was not the same article twice!
As an aside those people wrote in the Ami, I didn't read it properly though.
