I do sheitels in my house and I have a chair/mirror and all of my equipment set up in a room which also doubles as a guest room (it's a large room). My busiest day is usually Friday, and although I usually get all of the wigs done and out as early as possible, sometimes our guest show up early when I still need to access that room. How bad is this? Do I have to turn the room over to the guests as soon as they come, or just for shabbos?

I would warn them before they come that the room may not be ready until right before shabbos. As long as they have fair warning I think it is fine.

I don't show my guests to the room until I am ready. They can leave their bags in the front hall and hang out in the living room. I have no obligation to give them the room before I am ready.
