Does anyone have a DVD Camcorder that they would recomend? We are looking to buy one and want to know if anyone has any advice about which ones they like. Thanks!

we have a sonny digital 8 handycam and love it. I can transfer it on my computer and burn my own dvds.

the latest technology on the market is Hard Drive Camcorders (HDD) that saves it direct to the camera memory so u dont need 2 buy tapes / special dvds etc an the machine is much smaller an lighter an about the same price as a regular mini-DV. JVC does the best ones. We just bought one an r very happy with it BH.
It is MUCH faster 2 transfer it onto the computer (so u can burn DVDs and send copies to relatives / back up 4 urself etc) than from a mini-DV or the SONY camera that saves directly onto DVD.
