Hava digital album in my pc and all backed up on cd's. one nice day I'll have time to develop and organize them all.

Keep it where your kids won't have access to it.

I keep all of our pictures in albums and they're not allowed to just take down the albums. They can look at them one at a time and carefully. If I see anyone abusing them, I take it away.

thanks for the ideas but I ment any ideas other than album were I can put photo my kids like to see the pic so I dont want to take their childhood memery from them

Scam them into the computer and download them onto a digital photo album. Take the actual photos, put them in albums and store them somewhere safe.
ETA: I know this will take a tremendous amount of time, but this is the best way to keep your phots safe. You will also have all your photos backed up if they are ever lost or damaged.
