What tools or tips do you find really help you stay on track with whatever eating plan you have chosen? My favorite:A laminated card on the fridge that has boxes for each portion I am allotted daily,For example I aim for 7 carb portions so when I eat a slice of bread or 3 rice cakes, I put a magnet on a box in the carb column.Same for prtein fruit and fats.I can easily track my intake also on Shabbos. What helps you?

What works for me is that I make myself drink 2 cups of water before I eat anything in the morning as I am not naturally thirsty. It is hard to get in so much water during the day so I make sure to eat a very high level of high water content foods.
