There are sugar substitutes that are FG approved. There are diabetics on FG.

Ask the public school district to have their experts evaluate your child. They should legally do it for free. They can then tell you the information that you need to know without trying to guess it from 500 different places.

The PS tend to make less money and are often (but not always) somewhat less professional. Be careful and meet the person who is to evaluate. We took our boy to a private clinic that specifically serves the charedi population. In Israel most price scales for charedim are cheaper or offer many payments because otherwise they would have no customers.
