I remember very distinctly learning when I was in second grade that "Rivka davened and then she got pregnant", so I remember thinking to myself that when I get married, I'll have to daven REALLY hard to get a baby. I didn't even think about the logistics involved, I just assumed they appeared when you asked Hashem. 
Then my parents explained how it really works and I was like, "No way am I doing THAT!"
