My husband and I currently live in the valley but we are looking to move to either Pico or Hancock Park. We are looking for a very serious Torah community and a shul with like minded young couples. Many people are telling us to move to Pico because they say that the community is becoming more Yeshivish. However, from what it seems, Hancock Park seems like the more Yeshivish place. It is very confusing.
Is there anyone that lives in Hancock Park that can tell me if there are young couples/shuls in Hancock Park and how the community is?
Thank you!

Living in Pico and having worked in Hancock Park - HP is way more yeshivish. Yes, Pico is growing in that direction, but 'becoming yeshivish' is not the same as yeshivish.

Jewishmofmom- Thank you for responding. Yeah, that's what I thought...Hancock park just seems more yeshivish. Do you know if Hancock Park is a warm community and if it has young couples? Thanks!

Yes there is warmth, and yes there are young couples. I don't know the lay of the land there as far as shuls, like which ones the young'uns go to or which blocks are young families.
