Atlanta vs. Houston

I know there have been many threads on these cities already, so I hope this isn't too redundant. We are specifically looking for information on the financial aspects of living in Atlanta or Houston. Any and all information you have on either one would be hugely appreciated!

1) How flexible are the schools when it comes to tuition? We have small children. It feels horrible to move to a city knowing we can't pay full tuition or even close to it, but that's our reality, at least for a few years. I would say this is the #1 deciding factor on where we move. I realize there are a few schools in each city, so I'd like info. on everything out there. Again, the tuition costs may be more important to us than hashkafah.

2) What are the rental options, and what are the going rates? Any names of apartment complexes or certain blocks to look at would be great.

3) Cost of food - kosher and otherwise...

4) Anything else that you think is relevant, like shul membership (is it mandatory), etc.

All of the schools are as flexible as you need them to be. No matter which hashkafa you want MO, Chabad, or Yeshiva

Rentals
