How do you keep your kids occupied on Yom Kippur? DS is 5.5 and DD is 3.5. I don't fast that well. I am willing to buy a new toy that will keep them occupied. Any good suggestions? We have magnatiles and Lego (and other toys, just thought these two would be suggested).

I bought a ton of small toys and puzzles and books.

Hopefully when ds gets bored of one after 10mins we can transfer to the next.

Lots of different fruits, snacks, veggies and fun stuff to do such as stickers, toys etc.
But lots of different ones help so that they don't get too bored of one.

Thanks SS6099 and chocolate chips. Guess I better get my act together today and go get some snacks, puzzles and little toys.
Easy and meaningful fast to all.

Yes, lots of snacks and little toys. I bought my kids plastic animals around that age and it kept them busy for a long time. Pulled out the blocks and showed them how to make a zoo.

What about slightly older kids? I'm doing shiurim and have to stay in bed and I have 2 second graders, a kindergartener and a 2.5 year old? How do I keep the bigger ones busy?
