Check out millineryshop.net for large pre-ties. I never had one that fit/looked right until I started ordering from them. Great selection, and great customer service! They are also the only place I've found where they will add a no-slip band in the front (same material as in a wig grip). So they stay put, too.
If your pre-tie (and they are as you describe) is large enough it will look very different.

I've never found a pretied that looked right on me. I have just gotten pretty good at tying scarves!
Or I just have some slip on hats for truly lazy days..
