Any suggestions for fun places to take kids in Richmond? Any kosher places to eat at? Any recommendations for places to stay? Thanx.

What age kids? About an hour away you have historical stuff - Williamsburg, Jamestown, and Yorktown, also Busch Gardens is a wonderful amusement park in that area. In Richmond itself is a science museum and children's museum, plus there's white-water rafting. In the other direction about 2 hours is Luray Caverns, Shenandoah National Park, and Jefferson's home Monticello. For kosher and lodging info, see here: http://www.kbirichmond.com/sho......htm.

Thank you so much for all your ideas. My kids are 8-12. The link you sent me, unfortunately doesn't work any longer.
