I've long lost the numbers, but Mrs. Gabay has a beautiful tzimmer by Rechov Ari, down by the cemetery. (Ask her for the nice one with a few rooms - she has a few.) I'm pretty sure she's listed in phone books online.

Also near the cemetery is a nice tzimmer by Mirvis - again, sorry, no number, but I know they have a nice one as well.

just wanna add for future reference if anyone comes across this thread...I was at Meron on lag bomer for the 1st time this yr, with a baby...AND IT WAS AMAZING!!!!!

Im so glad I didnt listen to all those naysayers that tried convincing me that its a nightmare. I was there all day, we drove by car (barly traffic bh) to Carmiel (huge parking lot there) and took bus from there 25 min ride to Meron round trip 19 shekel. The buses were comfy air conditioned, they let us take our stroller right up, they had a max of sitting room on buses only so it wasnt crwded.

In Meron I was able to get everywhere easily with the stroller, disdnt have to push through crwds anywhere (they didnt allow into the actual building with stroller). It was amazing to see sooooo many ppl and how organized everything is. There was free food and drinks everywhere. I saw plenty of families congregated in quiet spots to do their upsherin...

So Meron is doable!!!

I am original op!!!
I went with three kids!!!!!! (Under age of 4)
Before we went on trip we said we are going with attitude Come what may it's a zchus to be by rabbi Shimon.
I cannot say it wasn't hard... I didn't get to see much fire and hadlaaksh but I HEARD!!! And I got to see my SON's upsherin @ a holy time @ a holy place. I was beyond emotional and cry when I type these word from the memories.
Hard? Yes! Amazing ? YESSSS!!!!!!!

Im a poster above that said I'm traumatized from going with my kids.
My dh went this year alone. He said it was way way more organized than 2 years ago. The bus system was much smoother.
He said he still wouldn't go again with kids.
I guess my kids are more difficult than the usual. So glad it worked out for you!
