I heard that we should feel simcha when we say Shiras Hayam. Does anyone know the source for this? Thanks!

My siddur which is sephardic says that the zohar says that it should be said 'bsimcha Raba u'bni'imus' pleasantly and with great simcha, and that he should imagine in his mind that he is standing in middle of the water on dry land and being saved, and that this is a segula for kaparas avonos. The source is a sefer 'tziporen shamir', os 24.
