Thinking of getting this in my new house. I see it has motion detectors. For those of you who have this doorbell what do you do for shabbos?

Under Motion settings, go to Motion Schedule, and there you can add when to disable motion detection. Set Friday from shkiya to midnight and Sunday from midnight to after shabbos.
If you have Ring, you should do this!

When set motion schedule to disable motion alerts it doesnt alert me but motion is still recorded on my app is that a prob for shabbos?

Yes according to most
What you should do before Shabbos is go into motion settings and disable each zone.

As already mentioned, the motion scheduler will only turn off the notifications, not the actual motion detector. You can turn off each motion zone every Friday. I have a reminder set on my phone to remind me each week.
It's the same kind of thing to remember like changing your fridge settings every week.
