Kuololit is known to sell what they claim on Ali. I can't say how they compare in quality to locally purchased jewelry, but if they claim to sell gold and diamond, they are.
However, make sure you get shipping insurance. Neither Ali nor Kuololit will do anything about a package that wasn't delivered.

One correction lawngreen: you mean cultured vs. natural pearls. Saltwater and fresh come from different critters, saltwater coming from oysters and fresh from other mollusks like mussels. Cultured pearls are produced by inserting a small bead into an oyster, thus causing it to coat the irritant with nacre to make a pearl. Natural saltwater pearls depend on the chance entry of a grain of sand into the oyster, which is why they are so rare.
Freshwater pearls also look very different, smaller and more like irregular grains of rice.
