I am frying up right now pepper steak, brocolli, onions and carrots and I need a sweet and sour or really any kind of sauce but not with tomato sauce cause I just ran out. Thanks!

I would just mix together maybe some duck sauce, soy sauce, ketchup and a little dilluted corn starch to thicken it up ....

I think apricot jam would work. I would mix up the sauce just in a bowl to combine it and then pour right over the pepper steak.

im sorry I am so bad with measurements. Maybe 1/4 cup of jam, 1/4 of ketchup. 1/4 cup soy and a tsp of corn starch dilluted in 1/4 of warm water- mix all together and add to steak.

pepper steak does not have the sweet sauce in it ... there's a mixture of ginger and soysauce and other good stuff ...
