No, because I only go anon when it includes private information. Not because I'm looking for likes under my real name.

No. I don’t post anonymously. That is, I have done so in all my time on here, but not for years and years.

I agree. I think posts under my SN don't get as many likes as my anonymous ones sometimes simply because I am opinionated on another topic.
Posters won't separate the post from the SN.

No. I don’t post as another unless it’s exteemely personal. Which happens once every other yr. I’ve got little to hide.

I'm not 18 either, but I sure do thrive on others' approval! Self-esteem booster

Ok! Wow, I feel so liked! I went back and changed into my username... you can go back and see... for some reason I feel all shy to post it here on the current page where everyone can see me...

I don’t check likes but might notice if there are any if I reread my post or go back to edit. I certainly don’t go back to check on the like status! Do people do that? How sad. It’s a pleasant surprise if a post garners a bunch, but I don’t depend on it to make my day.
If I really appreciate a post, I’ll often pm the poster. Obviously that’s not possible if the post is anon. I seldom think to click the like button in such a case. It’s just not a part of me.
In any event, just because I composed a popular post doesn’t mean that people like ME. It just means they like something I wrote. This would be significant only if I wrote for a living.
Still, I won’t deny it’s a teeny tiny thrill, and way better than getting a thumbs-down!

No. I don’t usually even notice whether mine or other’s posts get likes.
But usually my posts - anonymous or not - are not successful. They’re convo stoppers.

Agreed. Same here. I rarely post (moslty browse), and only post anonymously for topics when I need to hide identifyers.
