I’m part of a singing group and we get inspiration from secular sources. If you have the siyata dishmaya to attach inspirational lyrics to a sing, go for it! A true artist can be inspired form a blade of grass and composers have been ‘inspired’ (an artistic way to say steal) ever since creation.
