I want to give something special to the teacher I work with. We get along great and it's been a pleasant year with her, with quite a difficult class! She works really hard.
Now I have no idea what to gift her! She's a practical sort of person, I don't think she's into any specific thing... if you're a simple practical person with a busy family life what would you appreciate getting as a gift?
I'd spend up to 30$.

For a practical kind of person, I would do a nice plant or bouquet. that's always appreciated:)

Personally , I appreciate houseplants, cookbooks, serving pieces , costume jewelry or even a visa gift card.

Gift card to the spa especially if she would never do it! They're usually good for at least a year and everyone has occasion for a manicure at least once a year.
Otherwise chocolates or something she can personally enjoy.

I'd say good chocolate. I never buy for myself because it's quite expensive, but whenever someone offers it it is so much appreciated!
