My 15 months baby has been waking up lately during the night, can be anytime from 10 pm till 2am and refuses to go back to sleep. I nurse her, but she ends up playing and crying for over an hour.
She then wakes up at 5 am, regardless of what time she went to bed. I generally nurse her again and end up putting her in my bed.
She was just getting into a normal sleep pattern. Need some advice please.

how much does she sleep in the day ? It sounds like shes just not tired try cutting her nap time down in the day to a maximum of 3 hrs total ! and within a couple of days she ll ho bsck to sleep quickly at night because she will be tired !! also make sure she eats a good filling meal before bed so she does not wake up from hunger . Good luck

She generally sleeps about 2 hours in the morning and sometimes another 45 mins in the afternoon. When she doesn't sleep well by day, her nights aren't much better.
