I have . My rav said I may not fast. My baby does have complex feeding issues but the basis of the heter seemed to be that my baby was reliant on me for nutrition. He said I shouldn't eat shiurim and should eat regularly. Not chassidish , yeshivish type poses. I would definitely ask your rav.

In Bobov, females don't fast on tishu ba'av. Girls and non pregnant or not nursing women included.
All women in Bobov fast yom kipper, it's a doreisa.

You're probably right. I always fasted both, im a good faster bh so my memory could be wrong.

Should I even bother asking if it’s going to be an emphatic NO?
I’m breastfeeding, and I have a low milk supply. Fasting will affect my supply.
On top of that, it’s over 100 degrees where I live.
Anyone in this situation ever got a heter go fast until chatzos?

My Rav told me not to fast last year.
Because baby was breastfeeding, 7.5 months old but wasn’t on Solids yet and wasn’t interested in formula. So Rav said fasting will almost always diminish milk supply and can’t do that if baby is depending on it.

I've been getting so stressed out about fasting, my baby is almost four months and completely refusing to take a bottle. My husband just told me the Rav said if we can't get her to take a bottle in the next few days I can do shiurim. I was SHOCKED. And feel so much calmer BH

My rav said there is no need for shiurim on Tisha B'av. If you have a situation that you need shiurim, don't fast, it's d'rabbanan. Yom Kippur is a different story.

Regular yeshivish here.
I don't fast when exclusively nursing and I would never get a baby to take bottles just so I could fast (and the halacha doesnt require me to)
