Minimum 16 oz a day of breast milk or formula at that age. The recommended amount is actually 24 oz. This is besides for 2-3 solid meals.
Until 10ish months, solid meals are supposed to be in addition to milk, not instead of.

Sounds like very little milk to me.. I start food at 7/8 months and that’s only once a day. I nursed my 8 month old every 3 hours during the day and he had a 6 oz bottle when I was at work of breast milk. My doctor is very Into the milk and says food is extra. I believe also that babies need the fat to make sure that they develop properly in all areas.
OP please ask you doctor.
