Any recommendations for warm stretchies for newborns? My room gets pretty cold at night. I generally stay away from polyester as my kids sweat in it. But it’s been quite awhile since my last baby and I don’t remember what I put them in at night to keep them warm, when they were too young to use a blanket. Do I just use polyester fleece material? Is there anything more comfortable that is also warm?

I think fleece is much warmer than velour. And if its really cold in your house you can put a halo zip up wearable blanket on top.

Where can I find these? All the ones I see have polyester.

You can use a sleep sack / wearable blanket for warmth. I was introduced to it recently when I sent ta daycare that required them instead of blankets. I personally like Ely's & Co (available on Amazon) but all stores sell them these days.

Another vote for sleepsacks. At newborn stage we did cotton stretchie, maybe with onesie underneath, and a cotton sleepsacks ontop. We had 1 fleece sleepsacks for the really nights but rarely used it.
After 6 months I start using fleece PJs as needed (sometimes still with wearable blankets

I've always found it very helpful to double up on the stretchie layers make all the difference. If you can get a pair of socks to keep on the baby that also does wonders. If the feet are warm, everything is warm.

Layering is key. Get a sleep sack.
