Actually it IS from my husband! It's been so long and I forgot. My kids speak to us in the third person, for example. That's definitely from my husband.

I didnt read the entire thread, so I dont know if this was already mentioned, but look into the book/ methods by ross greene. Were a life saver for me

I don't know, but unless you brought him up as a spoiled brat (and it doesn't sound like you did), I'd first check him out to make sure there are no physical or emotional issues that are making him act out like that. It may be that something is bothering him, and that's why he's out of control and lashing out like that. I wouldn't just call that chutzpah. You should definitely consult a professional.
