How can I get a small spot of tomato sauce out of a white sweatshirt that has a large black logo on the front? I tried pre treating with stain remover but it didn’t help. I can’t use bleach because of the logo.

Dawn dish soap breaks down oil and food stains.
Make clothes wet in a clean sink, tub or basin. Put some Dawn dish soap on the palms of you hands and spread and rub the soap into the stains. Let sit overnight minutes. Scrub out stains with a soft cleaning toothbrush. If stain is still there rinse out and repeat.
Rinse soap out completely (suds hurt HE washing machines). Then put the wet clothes into the washing machine and wash as usual.
For the future, if this is done right away, it only needs to sit about 15 minutes.
