I love organizing stuff!!
Me & ra_mom usually have the same ideas.
I’m also a big fan of label maker.
Makes everything look so much better and
Maintains the organization.
If it’s for kids toys, you can label the bin with the picture of the toys also.

I did not read all the suggestions so maybe this was suggested
Think Pre- School, everything is labeled the bin and the shelf. This way kids can be in charge of cleaning the area and you know where that bin goes
Step 1. - sort all toys into individual bins
Step 2. - buy clear bins, different sizes that fit on the shelves. Try to find bins that don’t flare out. You may need to buy 1 of each size bring it home and check what best works for you
Step 3- take 2 pictures of each toy
1 goes in the bin and 1 in the shelf - this way you don’t need to play Tetris every time
Step 4- games that need your supervision because you don’t want all the little pieces lost go on the top shelf
For hot wheel cars- if they have a big collection I like to use a sewing box that is used for threads
Each car has its individual space
For lego I like to use a mat that when you pull the string it becomes a sack
They need to play on the mat and then when they are ready to clean up they pull the string closed. Clean up literally takes seconds as long as they play on the mat
