Alot of people don't live down the street from thier parents or il's. Like me for instance. I have never gone to my parents or my il's for any jewish holiday and unless of some great miracle I never will.

Oh we'll do ours, and go to my ILs too...on Sunday. We're not in Jerusalem, they are, so the seudot are not on the same day.

ive got bout fifteen guests for my seuda and I have not even thought about it yet its in almost a month. shall see what happens I guess

Hmm, no big deal.
I'm just disappointed that we won't be able to take full advantage of the day. So I don't feel like working too hard on costumes- we will reuse previous years'.
3 years ago on a Friday Purim I forgot to buy and make fish!
I had to go take a couple slices from a neighbor because DH is medakdek to have fish at each seuda. (As well as meat.)
