You might find that by getting one more can, life would be easier.
I have 3 green and 2 yellow. We’re a family of 6 but we also have couple in the basement. If we crush boxes the yellow is enough. It’s hard in Lakewood because they only come once a week for garbage instead of twice a week in other neighborhoods.

find out how to deal from the township. When I called they said I can buy a few, I can only put out 3 for pickup weekly....

Me n hubby and 3 little kids. Plus newlywed tenant I’m bsmt. We have 4 green 2 yellow. We don’t always fill the 4th green but yom tov time or if I have Shabbos guests, it’s a must

2 green 1 yellow. We're a family of 4 and upstairs neighbors family of 5. Every time they take the garbage we run to put all our recycling out before the upstairs people do and there's no more room again. We crush all our boxes and so do they but I guess somehow we just generate a lot of recycling.
