Have you come across a good sturdy storage cube that can be configured as you want, and is easy to put together?
I was looking at Way Basics Eco Modular Storage Cubbies but it turns out they are $120 for six cardboard boxes! I could just use ... cardboard boxes!
I have a sloped ceiling with bookcases (I used a staples 6 ft plus 4 ft, and then a 6 ft plus a 30" approx, and then and I want to put a set of little steps e.g. 3 - 2- 1 to maximize the space.

Are they particle board? Cardboard? Fabric?
Strong enough for books (paperbacks...)
