Has anyone done this? If cholent was frozen can I defrost it and heat it the whole shabbos to serve during the day?
Thanks!

Yes.
Wrap tightly and stick in oven before Shabbos.
I serve it teen boys often. They devour it and don’t complain. (They also don’t know)

Thanks so much!
Do you think it would work in a crockpot?

Yes on low with about 2 inches of water. I do this often.

Thanks so much!
One last question, should the cholent be totally defrosted when I put it into the crockpot?

potatoes don't freeze great but barley, meat and kishka are fine frozen then reheated.
