Technical engineer. You need to know the laws and how it pertains to the space. So someone designs it for you and you add in everything to bring it up to code.

With apologies for being 'that person' -
sounds suited to 'person who does totally unrelated job and enjoys maps in her free time.'
Trying to turn a hobby/interest into a job is great if you don't care at all how much you earn. Otherwise? Start either with the working conditions you want, or with a general set of skills you have.
Reasons
- because enjoying one part of a job doesn't mean enjoying every part of a job. Like, I like music, but I would absolutely hate being a professional musician. My friend likes computers but hates math, he would not enjoy doing a comp sci degree. Etc.
- because even loving every part of a job doesn't mean you'd want the conditions. I was once offered a job that's basically a 100% match for my skills and interests... for $2,000/month, 45/hours a week minimum, a 75-minute commute away. No thanks. And for some types of jobs the entire industry is like that.
- because it's unnecessarily limiting.
Start with, like, "I can work up to 30 hours a week, preferably from home" or "I prefer to work out of the home, in a quiet environment" or "I need a really dynamic workplace with a lot going on." Or with something like, "I'm good at keeping track of a million details" or "I'm good with difficult people." And see where that gets you.

I do think liking maps/blueprints can be a good place to start, if you 'learn out' from there to something more general about what you enjoy or what you're good at.
Eg are you detail-oriented, do you like to work with information, do you like to work independently and quietly, do you like to turn complicated concepts into simple images/explanations?

I think the right questions are:
WHY do you like these things?
WHAT about them appeals to you?
HOW do they make you feel?
WHAT would you NOT like about it?
If you can get to the reasoning behind the attraction to your hobbies, then you can extrapolate it to other things, and get the same feeling of satisfaction - without it having to do specifically with those exact hobbies.
