Hi, my teenage daughter has covid. she also has mild asthma.
she says her chest and the bottom of her rib cage area doesn't feel great, it's uncomfortable periodically and she feels that her breathing isn't great.
she is taking her inhalers regularly.
any suggestions?
does this sound like a serious problem? do I need to worry about myocarditis? other than this her other symptoms are achiness, chills and congestion...
thanks in advance for advice

Please reach out to her pulmonologist

Also, have you been able to check her O2 sats?

Does she feel better if she lies on her stomach?

she s just complaining about it periodically. she s walking around fine the rest of the time, looking just mildly under the weather.
she doesn't have a pulmonologist, her asthma has always been mild.
I will suggest she lies on her stomach, is that supposed ot help?
thanks

I find it mind boggling that you are posting this question on an Internet forum.

Take her to a doctor but my teenager felt the same way. It's the new strain. Mild but make sure she rests. It can really linger. Refua Sheleima.

Yes, gravity makes more room for the lungs to expand when you’re lying on your stomach. It helped me a lot.
