No time to shop today -- what can I make for a starchy side dish tonight with chicken?
We eat gebruchts, which is good b/c I have no potatoes left.
I have: Matzah, whole wheat matzah meal (really!), eggs, onions, 1 pepper.
Any kugels -- or farfel that doesn't need broth?

I made a delicious easy sweet kugel! Kid friendly. Here's there recipe, adapted from one on allrecipes.com
Raisin/Fruit Farfel Kugel
2 cups crumbled matzah
6 eggs, beaten
1/2 cup chopped dried fruit or raisins (I used cranberries, apricots & figs)
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 cup white sugar
2 tablespoons ground cinnamon
4 tablespoons oil (I used Safflower)
DIRECTIONS:
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees FGrease an 8x8 inch baking dish.
2. Soak farfel in hot water 10 minutes. Drain.
3. Add beaten eggs into the bowl of farfel. Stir in raisins, salt, sugar, cinnamon, and oil. Transfer mixture to prepared dish.
4. Bake at 350 degrees F for 50 to 60 minutes.
