I want to make farina for melave malka but to me it's a piece of junk and I'll be treating my kids to it. What else can I serve together with it that makes sense but has a bit more nutritional value?

First of all it's absolutely not a 'piece of junk.' It's a complex/'good' carb and at least the way I buy it, fortified with many vitamins.
You can mix in frozen berries if you like. Delicious.

When I give it to my children I feel like I'm giving them such a nutritious breakfast 🤷♀️
You can serve with fruit.

I always cooked it like polenta, until it was firm. Then I served it with hot marinara sauce and lots of mozzarella cheese or parmesan on top.

It's healthy. I grew up eating it with cinnamon and diced frozen peaches.
