I think everyone learns on the job. Some people feel more confident taking classes and doing research on different parenting methods but I don’t think kids and parents always react according to the script. I myself have taken classes and read books but despite all that, I go with my instinct a lot. Each kid is so different and your responses are required on the spur of the moment.
