That video was posted by Shulem Deen. That’s enough of a reason not to watch it.

Here is another version of the same song, sung partially in English. There are other versions but no English subtitles.

Is this a Jewish song? Please put that in your title. I wouldn't want to click on a non Jewish song.

Thank you

Then why in the world did you have to reply at all? Banging head
The song has nothing to do with him. Just a beautiful hebrew song.

Chanan Ben Ari is a Jew and Israeli. He is dati- not sure his exact level (he wears a kippa). He has composed some very beautiful, and Jewishly inspiration songs.
He is the composer of Shvurei Lev which has been covered by Yaakov Lemmer and Avraham Fried, amongst others.

This song is a tefilla of a father for his children.

Maybe she feels its wrong to support him? Does he make money when people click on the link?
I liked that particular clip only because it had English subtitles.

The song is from Chanan Ben Ari. He’s Jewish, it’s a Jewish song, it’s in Hebrew. His music is beautiful. I don’t know exactly how observant he is, I don’t know him. On a personal level it’s not important to me. I obviously don’t know what your standards are but if it makes a difference to you, I’m quite sure he’s Shomer Shabbos. If you only listen to heimish guys who wear zokken it’s not for you.

Thank you for posting another version. I don't want to support Deen's channel. He talks about how much he loves his children, but he has no problem demonizing their community, choices and way of life in his books and articles.
I know plenty of men who became secular while still doing whatever they can to make sure their religious children would be comfortable and respected.

The music doesn't speak to me; it's not my personal taste.
But the tefillah! So beautiful. So heartfelt. So deep. So Yiddishe.
The words are poignant and powerful and the prayer of every parent... And I think, the prayer of Hashem, Himself.
