I got pregnant my first cycle on spermicide, after 3 kids back to back after nursing. I cried a lot.

I was working remote at the time due to covid. When I got back from maternity leave, my office announced everyone had to return. It was a slow return, set back by vaccine laws. I couldn't imagine going back but saw no option though I knew transportation in NYC post covid was an issue as was babysitting.

My boss's boss's boss's boss had promised my husband during a hard time in my life that he would help me if I ever needed anything. My husband called him, he couldn't do anything, and they had a fight. I was mortified. Right away I started working on my resume and networking, looking for a new job.

I worked at home still and begged my company to let me stay home a bit longer as I just couldn't find reliable babysitters. They fell through one after another for various reasons. I went in once, then we got a short reprieve due to vaccine law. I got a job offer but I needed to wait for paperwork to go through with no clue how long it would take. My baby got RSV, and I got a week longer permission to work at home due to that, and during that week, I was cleared to start my new job. I went in just one more time so I could go get my new ID card in the city.

I make 35k more now than I did at my old job, and we bought a house. My new job is 10x more stimulating, I have learned a crazy amount, and my work life balance is amazing. If I had waited the 6-12 months I wanted to get pregnant, I would not have had maternity leave at just the right time, and would have stayed at my old job.

I have many times in my life seen the yeshua come at exactly the right time.

I reached out tentatively for a job that I heard about. The employer was really interested in me joining, but has her own managers to report and answer to, so I was left dangling for over 2 months. It didn't add up that I was wanted for the job, yet they couldn't give a clear offer to me.
During that time I became hungry for the job, to the point of obsession.and fantasy. Yet it never materialised.
Fast forward 2 more months and covid hit - I would have never managed to hold down the job and cope with everything else crazy at that time.
Hashem truly knew what was best for me and my family.

My nephew was in Yeshiva in Israel for over half a year and for the first time asked if he could come for Shabbos. I was so upset that we had told my Sil in a different area that we would come that week, we had said no to her a few times and didn't want to go but decided to go before Shabbos came out to late and mess with the kids schedule. I really wanted to cancel on her and have my nephew.
2 hrs into Shabbos (we only heard after Shabbos) there was a multiple fatal terror attack at the top of my street. My family heard about it before Shabbos by them but knew we were away. I keep on thinking what if my nephew would have been by me. Imagine my sister going into Shabbos knowing her son was staying on that street but not being able to contact anyone.
BH as well my children weren't there to here the shots and sirens.
