If you're a kriah tutor, what do you charge?
(Happy to hear from parents what they are paying too!)

I paid $65/half hour last year. She went up to $70 after that. Very very very expensive.

Wow. I agree with the bolded...
I was thinking to charge maybe $60-70 per HOUR but I'm OOT and not sure if it's too much...

In 2021 I paid $40 a half hour in Chicago. She saw my son at day camp during learning time which was so much easier for him and me.

Effective kriah teachers are usually trained. They understand reading challenges and delays.
If someone is trained, they can charge the price of a trained professional, but if you are going to become a kriah tutor and you don’t have the training or knowledge, you have to charge less.
My son’s kriah tutor has a degree in special education.

That's fair.
I'm a lower elementary morah for 10 years, and I've completed probably 20+ hours of kriah trainings. I don't have a special ed degree, nor do I think I'm necessarily able to help every child (but I'd be upfront about that if I felt a case was beyond my capabilities...)
What would you say is a fair amount to charge in this case?

You need to find out what people charge in your area. Every area is different.
I live in Lakewood and no one here cares about the degree. It's the experience and reputation that matters.
