Did your mother or mother in law come shave u the day after wedding?

Do you shave four days before the mikvah?
Do you grow out during pregnancy if not how often?

Which shaver do use? I tried two already and not liking either.
Also, how do you make sure you get all around the head. I’m forever missing spots!

Ok, as a chassidish woman that does not shave, why? What is the reason for shaving? I’ve heard many things but nothing that made sense.

This isn't a thing. It's a myth that non chassidish people believe. I don't know how this myth came about.

And so is various body parts that we cover and uncover only in the holiest of places and times.

I’ve yet to meet a woman who shaves and knows why she does it with conviction.

Aside mesorah - which holds weight but the question is how the mesorah came to be

The source of bringing more kedusha to the house is to always have your hair covered. Not to shave it.

No it’s not a myth, maybe it’s unspoken about. my husband and I come from chassidish backgrounds. As teens we went OTD/at risk. And now we settled into heimish modern lifestyle with a chassidish flavor.
I know enough people on all sides of the coin to tell you it’s a very legit thing.
My mother in law shaved my sister in laws as a side point. Friend of mine had her mom shave her etc… list goes on and on.

Not quite:) my mother came to my house the morning after my wedding to shave me. I would never be able to do it alone
As to where the minhag comes from, it’s mesorah that most chasidisha women don’t mind following. I personally love shaving and would never grow in my hair. So much easier neater, cleaner etc.

Do you shave bald? Or is it just cutting it really, really short?
