A friend just had a baby with DS. Its her 10th child and shes overhelmed. Any organizations that send food, etc? The baby is in the NICU.

Is she in NY?
First of all, ask her if she would appreciate a care package from "Touch of care".
So you have a local chesed organization who could send lunches?
As a mother of a precious child 'with' DS, I encourage you to 'ask' her ahead of time If she would appreciate your gestures. If you want to gift her, ask her if it's something she'd like, especially if its a piece of clothing or something for herself.
