I so badly want to lose weight but I need a change of attitude asap. I know that every day adds up to weight loss but I can’t escape the feeling that every day is sooo long. Messing up is so easy because of this. How can I get myself out of this hole?

Distraction, distraction, distraction.
I have the same problem. I try to stay busy and far away from the kitchen and food as much as is possible.
Also helps to drink a lot of water and herbal tea and brush my teeth a lot.

Are you hungry or eating out of habit? What are you doing to lose weight? If you eat and are satiated, you are less likely to overeat later. If you are calorie counting, eating low fat, and not cutting out all sugar, you will likely fail.
