Hi,
I am looking for help with my son for social skills he is 10 years old and does not pick up on some social cues.
Does anyone have experience with either Therapist or groups.
I am located in Monsey
I would prefer if it would be A group that focuses on social skills but they are doing something else while doing it. I don’t think he will do well with a direct lesson
Also, if anyone has tried working on it themselves there are some courses advertised are they worth it?
I realize that a lot of times he bothers because he doesn’t know something smarter to do like tell people what is bothering him or add to the conversation. He constantly needs something to do and if he isn’t busy he bothers anyone around him

My son benefited a lot from social thinking by Michelle Garcia Winner. We did the program she has called superflex. It helped him very much.
I have a packet of sheets we did in partnership with his therapist but I was able to do it myself at home easily. I can email the sheets to you if your interested.

Yes, I would also like the Sheets can they be sent through imamother or do you need an email address
