I try and redirect. So if they're saying yanky got more drink than me. I say, are you still thirsty? We can make you another drink once you're finished. Or you can have more if you're still hungry. So trying to move away from comparisons and focus on them.
I also try and do work on explaining how we're all different and need different things. You got new shoes last month when yours got too small. Yanky is getting a new coat because his zipper broke. You're bigger/smaller so you need more/less. Trying to make them understand that they don't need to have the same or the same amount every time as their siblings.
I feel like there's a jewish childrens book about how we're all made by Hashem, and we're made differently? Maybe someone knows it.
It's even the simple things, like having different color hair, or height and how each person is made exactly the way they're supposed to be.
