My child needs intense ot and therapy. We are very tight right now and adding in hundreds of dollars a month is not doable but we need to give him this help regardless. Are there any organizations that help cover therapy for elementary aged children?
Thanks in advance!

Hi,
Have you tried working with your insurance and eligible benefits?
You can PM me if you want more details as to how you can go about it.
Sorry I am not aware of organizations that provide funding although I know families have gotten from their local bikur cholim organizations.
(Crown Heights/BP/SBH/ etc) but these are based on need and being local to the community.
I am a Brooklyn based care manager so if you’re in Brooklyn can share with you local resources that offer funding for people in specific circumstances.

Ask your child's school if they have funding to cover therapy.

A lot of these things are community specific because there is no way for any organization to possibly carry the therapy needs of the broader Jewish world. Can you share your location?

if your child has private insurance coverage- uhccf gives up to 5k a year for things not covered by insurance/deductibles- need a specific diagnosis
helathwellfoundation- any insurance coverage. need a diagnosis but more options work. up to 3k a year- they are currently closed for pediatric funds. sign up for alert it should be open within the month again
if you are in ny there are more options but I am not familiar.
