If you and your husband are totally clueless about home repairs and construction, who did you hire to write your contract with all important details, before you did work on your house?

I dont think anyone trusts any contractor if theyre clueless.

Im starting a small job in a house (granite counters, and adding a sink, and possibly changing the existing tile floor in kitchen, adding some spots in rest of house, a little of everything but still not a huge job at all.

I need someone willing to involve themselves in small jobs.

Im hearing over and over that whats not written in the contract in great detail, I will NEVER get. I'll have to pay for it as an extra.

Who can I hire, who really knows his stuff, and knows whats important and whats not important to add to contract, who would help us write a contract with a contractor?
