ok, I just dont get it. why cant a child stand in a bath when there is a mat and it isnt slippery and its not dangerous? I wouldnt either like to sit the whole time I was taking a bath( Imajining myself a child)... sometimes you just want to stand up and have some fun

In my experience, those non-slip mats help squat.

I don't know, I have too many bumped chins for my liking. (They really hurt!)

a bumpd chin can be an easier way for them to decide to sit then to have a power struggle with a two year old (after making sure its as safe and non slip as possible, since its most likely not going to happen..)

That's a stage too. My son was pulling out the plug every bath for a while so he got short baths. It helps to get a couple of extra stoppers so there's one he can play with.

The issue is they are standing they can quickly get out of the bath if you turn your back and slip on the wet floor (mine is usually wet during the bath routine with three)..
If they are sitting, they are less likely to get out

oh I see. I guess for me its not a issue because I have a huge mat out of the bath too so the floor isnt slippery... and also my kids never want to come out
