As my 7/8 year old was getting undressed for the bath I caught a whiff of a sweat smell. I took a closer sniff and underarms had adult smelling bo. Only noticed it when my nose was pretty close to the armpit. Is this concerning? Precocious puberty?
At what age is it normal to start having noticeable body odor?

My DD started needed deodorant at age 8 and the pediatrician said it’s fine as long as there are no other signs of development. She’s ten now and still no other signs of development.
