I’m in london- I don’t know anyone non chassidish who uses tatty. Most are daddy that becomes dad as kids grow up. The Israelis are abba and the Europeans are papa or papi

The older kids in my family typically say Abba. And the younger kids call hi. Dad/ddy
I personally like to flop around and call him a variety of names, including Vader, Derf, and Bob

My dh is also Papa! We're American FYI.
Certain relatives snorted when they first him being called Papa, because in their minds, a Papa is an old grandfather.
