We are invited to a destination wedding. We are distant relatives; the family is fancy and not frum, we are frum though.
Help me look good and appropriate!
Festivities are in two parts.
First part is cocktail attire, the second part is black tie optional.

Thank you! I really like it but it might look bad on me. I don’t look good in flowy fabric
Do you think a slip dress with a sequin jacket would work for the cocktail party?
Silver or black dress, cobalt blue jacket

What is your budget? And your age? What is the destination (Hawaii/Caribbean or the Alps)? What is your build?
A dress for a 22 yo is different than a 50 yo frum or otherwise.

I am willing to pay a few hundreds for a dress/outfit.
I am a slightly overweight hourglass. I look good in pencil skirts and fitted clothes, don’t look good in oversized.

Also, can I do flats for the cocktail party? It seems like it will be just a dinner plus hanging out at a venue in the city.
The ceremony is at a villa (so it should be block heel).

That one looks beautiful, and it’s clearly meant to have sleeves so a nice option in a crowd where that’s not the norm.
